WHEN IS THE SHOW?

The Annual Proston Show is held at Proston Showgrounds is held on the first or second weekend of March.

The next Proston Show will be Friday 8th & Saturday 9th March 2024.

WHERE IS THE SHOW?

The Annual Proston Show is held at Proston Showgrounds located at

41 Proston - Boondooma Road, Proston, QLD 4163

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO THE SHOW?

The Proston Show has almost everything you need for a great day out!

You will need a ticket (available online or at the gate) and all patrons will need to wear the wristband they are given upon entry.

There are plenty of food and drink options for the entire family including BBQs and a full canteen running all day. There will also be food stalls, coffee and ice-cream vans and a fully licensed bar.

There will be an ATM available on the day.

Items prohibited at the Show

External food & drinks (except water)
External alcohol (all alcohol must be consumed in the bar area)
Glassware or breakable containers
Skateboards, scooters, roller blades & bicycles
Items classified as Dangerous Goods or Poisonous
Knives or dangerous weapons
Any other items as determined by the Association that may cause injury and/or public nuisance

ARE MY TICKETS VALID BOTH DAYS?

Yes, all show tickets are valid for both days of the show.

CAN I PARK AT THE SHOW?

There is plenty of parking available at the show.

General parking is permitted along the front of the grounds on both sides of Proston - Boondooma Road. Patrons may also park in Apex Park, located off Rodney Street.

There are designated parking areas for livestock competitors with trucks, horse floats and gooseneck trailers.

Livestock competitors will be directed by Stewards at the admissions gate.

CAN I CAMP AT THE SHOW?

We are pleased to announce that camping will be available to Show attendees in 2023.

Camping tickets are available for purchase here or at the gate. A ticket must be bought for every vehicle and you must display your ticket on your vehicle's dashboard.

Information about Camping

Camping tickets are $10.00 per vehicle for the whole show
Tickets cover up to five people per vehicle
All campers are welcome to use shower and bathroom facilities at the grounds
Campers are welcome to use the grounds from Thursday - Sunday of show week
No vehicles will be allowed to enter/exit the grounds between 8:00am and 3:00pm on the Saturday show day
All camping sites must be packed by midday on the Sunday after the show
